Brussels Sprouts with Cranberries

Ingredients:

brussels sprouts, halved
2/3 cup fresh cranberries (or dried)
1/3 cup gorgonzola cheese, crumbled
1/3 cup pecans, walnuts, or almonds
1 tablespoon maple syrup
1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
olive oil
salt and pepper
1 cup barley, cooked (optional)

Toss brussels sprouts with maple syrup, balsamic vinegar, olive oil, salt, and pepper. Bake or saute with nuts and cranberries. Top with gorgonzola.

Serve tossed with with barley if desired.
